Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Floating Assistant Maintenance Manager to support maintenance operations across multiple apartment communities in Renton, Kent, and Federal Way . This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys troubleshooting, leading by example, and ensuring residents receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily maintenance operations at multiple properties
- Support maintenance teams with scheduling vendors, ordering supplies, work orders, unit turns, and preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, and carpentry issues
- Ensure communities remain clean, safe, and well-maintained
- Help maintain inventory, supplies, and vendor coordination
- Support emergency on-call rotations as needed
- Assist with training and mentoring maintenance staff
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Qualifications
- Previous multi-family maintenance experience required
- Supervisory or assistant maintenance leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between properties
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently

Schedule
- Full-time
