Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate After School Instructional Aide to join our team. As an After School Aide, you will provide instruction and support the students of the after school program. Your role will involve working with small groups of students in order to help them with their academic and behavioral needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and contribute to their educational development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist other after school members in implementing tutoring lessons
- Provide small group instruction to students
- Assist in the implementation of after-curricular activities
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback
- Help maintain a safe and positive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a educational setting is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Understanding of special education strategies and accommodations
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
- Basic literacy education skills (reading, writing, math)
