Job Summary:
The Cook is responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality meals in support of audit-related events and team functions. This role ensures food is prepared safely, efficiently, and in accordance with set standards, contributing to a professional and enjoyable dining experience for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to provided menus, recipes, and dietary specifications
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, food prep areas, and equipment
- Assist with food setup, presentation, and service for hospitality events or audit support functions
- Monitor food inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the hospitality team or Chef
- Follow portion control guidelines and ensure consistency in food quality and presentation
- Support the setup and breakdown of kitchen equipment during travel or mobile deployments
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other hospitality personnel to ensure smooth service flow
Qualifications:
- Solid cooking and food preparation skills across a variety of cuisines
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing event needs
- Experience working in kitchens, banquets, or mobile/temporary food setups preferred
