The Talent Acquisition Specialist is the first representative of Bridge that applicants will meet, and as such they represent our mission and ideals professionally and in all situations. Working closely with the Human Resources Manager, the TAS ensures that Bridge hires the best available candidates for all positions by sourcing, screening and shepherding them through the recruitment and hiring process, and will communicate regularly with hiring managers to keep them apprised throughout the recruitment process. The TAS will be proficient in using various recruitment platforms, search engines, job boards and social media and may represent Bridge at in-person job fairs and other public-facing events.

Essential Job Functions
- Post open positions through a variety of media and channels
- Explore and recommend additional strategies to attract talent
- Be conversant in Bridge’s mission and Employee Value Proposition in order to interact knowledgeably and genuinely with potential new hires.
- Based upon requirements specific to all Bridge employees and to the position for which they are being considered, review all resumes and select only those candidates who meet basic job requirements before conducting phone screens.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition
- Track key metrics related to recruitment efforts and providing insights to improve processes
- Ensure efficient and effective use of the recruitment budget
- In concert with hiring managers, create job descriptions that reflect the requirements of each position
- Coordinate and collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria
- Build and develop a pipeline of the most qualified candidates by assessing their CVs, portfolios, and references, and attending job fairs and recruitment events
- Maintain clear records of all recruitment documentation, including interview notes and related paperwork in ADP, to share with key stakeholders
- Provide ad hoc reporting as requested
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
- Proficiency with various recruitment platforms, social media, CV databases, professional networks and other channels
- Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
- Creative proactive, and credible approach to problem solving
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Working knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
- Proficient with ADP Workforce Now, Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources management or similar field
- Five years of experience in a talent acquisition or recruitment specialist role
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- SHRM’s Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
