Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Transport Driver to join our team. This is a WEEKEND position only. No hours available during the week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from medical facility hile providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and maintaining a positive experience for all passengers.
Duties
- Safely operate a medical transport vehicles.
- Ensure timely pickups and drop-offs of passengers or deliveries as per scheduled routes.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and alighting, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a comfortable journey.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, particularly during the loading and unloading of goods or equipment.
- Document any incidents or issues that arise during transport and report them to the appropriate personnel.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting, pushing and pulling.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required; additional certifications may be necessary depending on the type of vehicle operated.
