We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Part-Time Evening Shift Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Administer medications accurately following physician orders and facility policies
- Document all medications and care in QuickMAR (or EHR system)
- Monitor residents for side effects, reactions, or changes in condition
- Report any concerns to the nurse or supervisor immediately
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Ensure proper medication storage, counts, and safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with caregivers, nurses, and management
- Provide compassionate, respectful care to all residents
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Help on the floor and with meals as needed
Requirements
- Active CMA (Certified Medication Aide) certification (preferred)
- Current CNA certification (required)
- Previous experience in assisted living or memory care (preferred)
- Ability to safely administer and document medications
- Familiarity with QuickMAR or similar EHR system (preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled shifts (including weekends as needed)
- Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused mindset
- Ability to pass background check and meet state requirements
