We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our growing team. This role is ideal for anyone who is proactive, thoughtful, and motivated by purpose. The right candidate is someone who takes initiative, values collaboration, and is eager to grow within a mission-driven firm. You will manage your own caseload while being supported by a team, opportunities to collaborate with other attorneys to develop litigation and negotiation strategies.
Role Overview:
As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for managing personal injury cases from intake through resolution. You will advocate for clients, develop legal strategies, and work to achieve the best possible outcomes while delivering exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide legal guidance
- Evaluate and screen potential personal injury cases
- Investigate claims and gather evidence
- Review medical records and assess damage
- Develop case strategies and advise clients on legal options
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel
- Draft & submit pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Represent clients in litigation and trial
- Maintain consistent and proactive client communication
- Build strong, trust-based client relationships
- Stay current on relevant laws and legal developments
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active Oregon State Bar license (required)
- Washington State Bar license (preferred)
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred but not required)
- 3-5 years of legal experience (personal injury experience preferred)
- Strong legal writing and verbal communication skills
- Confidence in negotiation and advocacy
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
