This is a part-time, on-site role based in Solana Beach, CA, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position. The Escrow Assistant will support the escrow team in managing files from opening through closing, while helping deliver the elevated, service-driven experience that defines Brickstone.
This role goes beyond traditional escrow support—we’re a growing, boutique company, and there will be opportunities to be involved in operational, marketing, and internal initiatives as we continue building the brand.
You’ll also go through a dedicated onboarding and training period to learn the Brickstone way—our approach to communication, organization, and client experience. While escrow experience is important, aligning with how we operate and how we serve our clients is equally essential.
- Assist with opening escrow files and processing incoming documentation
- Prepare and review escrow documents and disclosures
- Coordinate with agents, clients, lenders, and title companies
- Track timelines, contingencies, and key deadlines
- Help manage file flow to ensure smooth and timely closings
- Provide a high-touch, responsive, and professional client experience
- Support the team in maintaining compliance and accuracy throughout each transaction
- 2 years of escrow experience OR high level customer service experience required
- Understanding of escrow process and closings
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail (little room for error)
- Professional, polished, and solutions-oriented
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities

- Notary Public certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Bachelor's Degree with a Business focus
- California Real Estate license
- Familiarity with escrow software and industry tools

- Intentionally limited file volume to prioritize quality over quantity
