Merchandising Business Integration

We are seeking an Merchandising Business Integration (Merch Ops) to support APLA Merchandising teams in driving operational excellence, process improvement, and cross-functional alignment. You’ll partner across Merchandising, Planning, and Sales to streamline seasonal execution and implement new tools and workflows that enhance efficiency and precision.

What You’ll Do

• Lead workshops and alignment meetings with SMEs to identify and design process improvements.
• Drive implementation and adoption of new tools, processes, and ways of working.
• Collaborate across merchandising, planning, and sales to eliminate friction and improve integration.
• Champion operational excellence, process innovation, and continuous improvement across teams.

Mandatory Skills / Must-Haves

• Bachelor’s degree with 4–5 years of experience in Merchandising, Operations, Consulting, or Corporate Strategy (or 3 years with an MBA).
• Strong understanding of merchandising fundamentals — especially assortment creation and product line management.
• Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in central operations — developing, optimizing, and rolling out scalable processes.
• Expertise strategic problem-solving and process structuring.
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills — able to turn complex ideas into clear, actionable plans.
• Self-starter mindset who thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Knowledge of merchandising systems (essential).

Nice to Have

• Experience in project management or change management.
• Background in merchandising planning.
