Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly and energetic Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you'll be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for our guests through excellent service, craft beverages, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether taking orders at the table or mixing up signature cocktails, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our guests feel valued and satisfied. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros.
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, utilizing mixology skills and beverage recipe knowledge.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Process cash transactions efficiently while providing excellent customer service throughout the guest experience.
- Assist in food service by delivering meals promptly, ensuring presentation aligns with quality standards.
- Engage with guests to recommend beverages, answer questions about menu items, and promote specials or new offerings.
- Support bar management in inventory control, restocking supplies, and tracking sales to maximize efficiency.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; fine dining or restaurant experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha or Micros for processing transactions accurately.
- Skilled in mixology with a good understanding of spirits, wine knowledge, and beverage recipe development.
- Experience with craft beer, brewing processes, and beverage trends is desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tables or bar orders simultaneously.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math for sales tracking.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
