We are looking for a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Food Prep to join our busy kitchen team. Duties
- Operate dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients for various dishes.
- Support the team by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas.
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling protocols and sanitation standards to prevent contamination.
- Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move supplies, ingredients, or equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain kitchen health and safety standards by adhering to sanitation guidelines and reporting any hazards or maintenance needs.
- Support kitchen staff during busy periods by organizing supplies, restocking stations, and assisting with general cleaning duties.
Skills
- Experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to operate basic kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and food prep tools safely.
- Strong manual handling skills for lifting heavy items and moving supplies efficiently.
