The Mission: We’re looking for a conductor. As the Service Manager at Briarwood Ford, you are the heartbeat of the dealership. You’re responsible for turning a complex grid of technicians, advisors, remote services, and parts into a seamless, profitable, and high-CSI machine.

The Core Responsibilities
- Lead the Team: Oversee a diverse team of Service Advisors, Technicians, and our Remote Experience department. You’re the mentor, the coach, and—when necessary—the one who makes the tough calls.
- Growth Mindset: You live and breathe growth and volume while also ensuring CSI remains a priority. You don't just report the numbers; you know how to move the needle.
- Customer Advocate: You’ll handle the "tough" conversations with grace. You understand that in a town like Saline, our reputation is built one repair order at a time.
- Process Architect: From the first click on the FordPass app to the final vehicle delivery, you ensure the workflow is tight, the communication is proactive, and the shop stays profitable.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure the shop stays up to spec with Ford standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
What You Bring to the Table
- The Experience: Minimum of 5 years in automotive service management. If you have specific Ford Service Manager experience, you’re already at the top of our list.
- Tech Literacy: Deep familiarity with DMS systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, etc.) and the Ford ecosystem (OASIS, PTS, FRS).
- Leadership DNA: You lead by example. You aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty or spend time on the shop floor to understand why a job is stalled.
- Strategic Thinking: You can look at a P&L statement and identify exactly where the leaks are and where the opportunities live.
- Communication: You can explain a complex technical repair to a customer and a complex financial goal to the Dealer Principal with equal clarity.
