Accounting & Finance Intern

Brewer Science, Inc. is a major innovator of high-technology solutions for the semiconductor / microelectronics markets. We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as an Accounting & Finance Intern (full-time summer, 40 hours per week; part-time school year, 15-20 hours per week). This position will be in Rolla, MO.

Summary:

The Accounting/Finance Intern will support both the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions while helping ensure invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner. This individual will maintain organized and accurate financial records and provide analytical and administrative support to the Finance team, including assisting the Funding Analyst position as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with coordinating global Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable activities.
• Provide support for the Funding Analyst role and assist with other analytical and finance-related responsibilities as needed.
• Perform Accounts Payable duties including opening daily mail, scanning invoices, filing documents, reviewing unmatched purchase order reports, closing purchase orders when appropriate, and completing other assigned tasks.
• Perform Accounts Receivable duties including processing daily invoices, entering daily receipts into the accounting system, reconciling daily bank reports, and completing other assigned tasks.
• Assist with the month-end close process for all global companies to help ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in Brewer Science, Inc. internship program activities.
  
  
  

Credentials and Education:

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
