Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret financial information to accurately report the company’s tax position.
- Coordinate with external CPA firms to prepare timely and accurate tax filings for all entities.
- Research tax laws and rulings as needed to support compliance and planning.
- Ensure adherence to jurisdictional regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology for improved accuracy and efficiency in tax processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the relationship between accounting records and tax reporting requirements; provide support during financial audits.
- Assist with tax audits and respond to notices.
- Reconcile tax-related general ledger accounts.
Requirements
- 8 years of tax experience with strong knowledge of tax laws and codes.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities, including diplomacy, negotiation, and problem-solving.
- Advanced analytical skills and ability to interpret business needs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for both ad hoc and standard reporting.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship not available).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with an Accounting Certificate.
- CPA designation (active or in progress).
