Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and ventilation equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Read and interpret schematics and HVAC design plans to accurately install or repair complex systems.
- Operate brazing tools and perform equipment repair tasks to maintain system integrity.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all work performed.
Experience
- Proven service technician experience in HVAC installation, repair, or maintenance within construction or property management environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience working on HVAC systems and refrigeration units.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design principles to accurately diagnose issues.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively in troubleshooting scenarios.
- Field service experience demonstrating the ability to work independently while maintaining safety standards.
