Brenntag TA Team
- Load and/or unload bulk, drummed, toted, or bagged material from company trucks, common carriers, and tankers.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner and follow all rules and regulations.
- Properly care for and use all equipment such as forklifts, drum handling equipment, pumps, hoses, etc.
- Secure dual sign off before transferring any product from one vessel to another.
- Properly use materials such as labels, placards, stenciling and paint.
- Perform packaging and blending of hazardous/nonhazardous chemicals into proper container (i.e. - tote, drum, bulk).
- Assure stock and the warehouse facility is maintained in a safe, clean, ad orderly condition.
- Follow all operating procedures, work instructions and quality systems in place.
- Report all non-conformances as they occur using proper forms.
- Attend and actively participate in all safety and quality meetings as required.
- Complete all training as required in the Regulatory/Compliance Training Program.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Experience/Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 years of experience in a similar role within an industrial/chemical environment.
- Must have the ability to repeatedly bend; lift, push, pull and or move up to 100 pounds; proper lifting techniques required.
- Ability to wear proper protective equipment such as safety goggles/glasses, Tyvek suits, steel toed boot, etc.
- Must be able to give and receive verbal and written instructions in the English language.
- Comfortable with the use of a Forklift, and general warehouse duties.
- Employment is contingent upon completion of background investigation, pre-employment fit for duty, E-Verify check, and pre-employment drug screening.
