Brenntag TA Team
Shipping and Receiving:
- Inspect incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy, check for damage, and confirm compliance with company standards.
- Sort, label, and store items in designated locations following inventory management protocols.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Ensure products are handled safely and efficiently to minimize damage and delays.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure equipment remains in good working order.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe work environment.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in safety training programs and actively contribute to a culture of workplace safety.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent
- combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently. Forklift certification required.
- Possess knowledge to operate scales, conveyor belts and bagging unit.
- Must meet PFT requirements to wear a respirator. Cannot have any facial hair that may interfere with a respirator.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
- Ability to ready, comprehend and carry out detailed and simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
- Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.
