In this vital support role, you’ll assist bartenders and servers by maintaining a clean, organized bar area, preparing food and beverages, and ensuring smooth operations during busy nights at our vibrant nightclub or event space. Your proactive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to a lively, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back for more.
Key Responsibilities
- Restock bar items including liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, ice, and glassware
- Change kegs and assist with beer systems as needed
- Keep bar areas clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service
- Wash and polish glassware
- Refill ice bins and ensure adequate supply at all times
- Remove trash, recycling, and empty bottles regularly
- Maintain cleanliness of bar floors, mats, and service areas
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to management
- Support opening and closing duties
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to lift heavy items (kegs, cases of beer/liquor up to ~50 lbs)
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Prior bar or restaurant experience preferred, but not required
Physical Requirements
- Standing and moving for extended periods of time
- Frequent lifting, bending, and reaching
- Ability to work in a busy, sometimes loud environment
Pay: $22.36 - $26.93 per hour
