As an Accounting Specialist at BRECOflex, you'll work closely with the Controller and gain exposure to a wide range of accounting functions, including reconciliations, tax compliance, month-end close activities, and process improvements. What You'll Do
- Manage the full accounts payable process, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and account maintenance.
- Perform bank, credit card, and expense report reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
- Prepare and file multi-state sales and use tax returns while maintaining compliance documentation.
- Support month-end close activities, journal entries, and general accounting functions.
- Maintain organized accounting records and assist with internal controls and process improvements.
- Partner with the Controller on special projects and gain exposure to broader accounting responsibilities.
- Cross-train in various accounting functions to support departmental continuity and professional growth.
- Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Bachelor's Degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or accounts payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience with accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and financial recordkeeping.
- Experience with sales and use tax filings preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite; experience with SAGE 100, ERP systems, and expense management platforms is a plus.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
- Salary Range: $55,000- $70,000 based on experience
