What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Nursing Assistant (Nursing Facility) position at Breckinridge Health Inc?
$2000.00 Sign-On Bonus ($500.00 paid out after 3 months, $500.00 paid out after 6 months, and the other $1000.00 paid out after 1 year if still in the full or part-time position)
Responsibilities:
- Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary and ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
- Assists nursing staff to identify physical, psychosocial, age-specific, and cultural considerations of each patient.
- Works with the nursing staff to provide personal care according to organizational standards and policies.
- Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine and recording intake and output information.
- Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients’ call lights and requests; and reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.
- Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
Qualifications:
- Active Kentucky Certified Nursing Assistant Licensure
- BLS Certification
