What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Casual position at BREAKTHRU BEVERAGE MISSOURI LLC?
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for unloading and putting away inbound freight
- Responsible for filling customer and sales orders
- Responsible for replenishment activities
- Responsible for loading outbound product on trucks and organizing according to loading standards
- Required to meet all productivity standards
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
- Know, understand, and abide by all Federal and State laws pertaining to alcoholic beverages
- Understand and comply with all State and Federal regulations regarding the sale and promotion of assigned products
- Attend, participate, and complete all company regulatory and required trainings
- May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Essential Characteristics
- Regular and reliable punctuality
- Must have the ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Must have good communication skills and have the ability to work well with others. Utilization of a team approach in all aspects of performance is essential
- Working knowledge of computer operating systems, including WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) a plus
- Must be able to work in a warehouse setting and comfortable working with letters and numbers
- Able to work flexible hours and available for overtime should a need arise
- Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, reach trucks and other material handling equipment a plus
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Warehouse and/or shipping clerk experience preferred
