Role Description The Kindergarten and First Grade Teacher is a full-time, on-site role located in Cleveland, OH. This educator designs and delivers engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction in core subjects, including early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional learning. Daily responsibilities include planning lessons aligned to school standards, creating a joyful and structured classroom environment, monitoring student progress, and differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs. The teacher communicates regularly with families and caregivers, collaborates with colleagues and support staff, and participates in professional development to continuously improve practice. Additional duties include classroom management, supporting school-wide programs, and contributing to a positive, inclusive school culture.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in early childhood and elementary instruction, including lesson planning, classroom management, and differentiated teaching for young learners.

- Commitment to culturally responsive, inclusive practices that support the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students.
- Ability to use student data to inform instruction, assess learning, and provide timely feedback and support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; appropriate state teaching license or eligibility for licensure in Ohio preferred.
- Experience teaching kindergarten or early elementary grades, particularly in public or charter school settings, is highly beneficial.
