Assistant Production Manager
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Assistant Production Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our embroidery and printing production department. This role supports production scheduling, quality control, inventory management, and team leadership while ensuring orders are completed accurately and on time.
The ideal candidate is organized, bilingual (English/Spanish), hands-on, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Production Manager in overseeing daily production operations, including embroidery, printing, and warehousing activities.
- Coordinate and monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders.
- Supervise and train production staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Implement and enforce quality control standards across all production stages.
- Manage inventory levels for raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with receiving and shipping departments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Prepare production reports and communicate progress to management.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in production environments, specifically with embroidery, printing, and warehousing (receiving and shipping) operations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.
- Bilingual proficiency is required.
- Proficiency in relevant production software and systems is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Prior supervisory or lead experience in a production setting is desirable.
