We are seeking an energetic, dependable, and hands-on Store Manager to lead daily operations at our Bozeman convenience store. Responsibilities:
Daily Store Operations: Oversee opening/closing procedures, register balancing, cash drawers, and daily store reconciliation. Inventory & Vendor Management: Handle Direct Store Deliveries (DSD from Pepsi, Frito-Lay, distributors), place inventory orders, and conduct regular stock audits. Team Leadership & Scheduling: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise store associates to ensure proper floor coverage for all shifts. Customer Service & Store Maintenance: Maintain high customer service standards, keep store and sanitation areas clean, and resolve issues promptly. Legal & Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to laws regarding age-restricted sales (tobacco, alcohol, lottery) and foodsafety regulations. Visual Merchandising: Ensure full shelf stocking, optimal product placement, and promotional sign execution.
Qualifications:
2 years of store management or supervisory experience in a convenience store, gas station, or high-volume retail setting. Strong proficiency with retail POS systems, cash handling, and basic inventory tracking. Knowledge of compliance standards for age-restricted products (Tobacco/Alcohol). Leadership skills with the ability to handle shift coverage and employee scheduling. Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends, holidays, and peak hours. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long hours.
Pay & Schedule: Pay: $23.00 to $26.00 as per hour experience
