Job Summary
Bread & Butter Market is a new specialty market in Riverhead dedicated to fresh, quality food and outstanding customer service. We're seeking friendly, dependable Cashiers who enjoy interacting with customers and helping create a positive shopping experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide outstanding service
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system
- Assist customers with questions about products and menu items
- Help keep the front end clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Support the team during busy periods
Qualifications:
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate
- Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and proactive approach to assisting shoppers
- Flexible schedule, including weekends
Compensation:
- $17.00/hour tips
