Under general supervision of the Child Care Services Director and Child Care Services Site Lead, assist in the supervision, management, safety and well- being of students during, before school and after-school activity.

KNOWLEDGE OF:
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed above. High School Diploma or GED.

Essential Duties
- Assist in planning and implementing daily program.
- Assist in planning and preparing the learning environment and in preparing needed materials and supplies.
- Helps with general housekeeping tasks, including the serving of snacks.
- Maintain professional attitude and loyalty to child care center.
- Treat all children with dignity and respect.
- Attend all staff meetings and recommended training programs.
- Participate in professional organizations that work for the improvement of early childhood and primary education.
- Oversee and supervise children in small groups.
Perform related duties as assigned within classification.
