SUMMARY
Under general supervision, performs various staff support duties within the Sheriff’s Office.
Example of Duties
- Carry out the Sheriff’s Mission and Vision and adhere to the Office’s Core Values; Trust, Service, Community;
- Cultivates high morale and a Team culture within the Sheriff’s Office;
- Prepare, process, or reissue a variety or legal documents, including warrants, subpoenas, protective orders, and temporary restraining orders;
- Schedule and coordinate in-state and our-of-state travel for deputies involved in extradition or inmate transfer;
- Prepare reports on dockets, warrant dispositions, and fine collections; generate billing for the State Attorney General’s Office for service of state documents; maintain and update TCIC/NCIC database entries;
- Perform receptionist duties, including answering public inquiries, providing information within scope, and directing calls to appropriate personnel;
- Log and submit bond payments to bookkeepers; coordinate with bond companies and courts to verify violator incarceration;
- Perform general office duties, including filing, copying, and data entry;

Education, Experience and Training Guidelines:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
Valid Texas Driver’s License

Environmental Conditions: Duties and trainings are generally performed within Brazoria County in both indoor and outdoor environments. Occasionally, duties and trainings are performed outside Brazoria County.
