Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Take customer orders with enthusiasm, upsell menu items effectively, and ensure quick service delivery.
- Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing surfaces, organizing supplies, and adhering to food safety protocols.
- Manage food service customer orders efficiently while providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, including fryers, grills, ovens, and other food preparation tools.
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting overall restaurant sanitation efforts to ensure a welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cashiering experience is a plus.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask during busy periods.
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail sales transactions.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently; previous culinary or café experience is advantageous.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
