Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced, Senior Residential Service Work Electrician to join our team. This role is for Tuesday - Saturday between 8am - 4pm. Hourly pay is comprised of a hourly rate plus monthly bonus/commission based on truck revenue. As an Service Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in occupied residential homes. Experience with complex troubleshooting is required (breaker tripping, lost neutral, partial power, storm damage, etc). It is required to be able to performing a service upgrade with no helper. Must be comfortable with performance based pay.
Preferred if you have experience using Service Titan, Housecall Pro or Jobber and have experience working directly with homeowners. This is a great opportunity for someone who is knowledgeable in electrical work and enjoys working with homeowners doing 2-3 jobs per day. Must have at least 5 years of experience doing service work and troubleshooting. This job is not applicable for a commercial electrician or someone with only a new construction background.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine electrical layouts and wiring configurations
- Perform frame carpentry work as needed to support electrical installations
- Build and assemble electrical components and systems
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete electrical tasks
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations
- Provide estimate using iPad pricebook and invoice homeowner after job is completed
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Residential Electrician doing service work, installation and troubleshooting with occupied home and dealing directly with homeowners.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for electrical work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues
