POSITION OVERVIEW

Braxton Brewing Company is seeking reliable and enthusiastic Warehouse Associates to join our team as full-time employees. Warehouse Associates play a vital role in our operations, managing inventory, fulfilling orders, and supporting post-production activities to ensure our products reach customers efficiently and in perfect condition. We're looking for individuals who show up on time every day with a positive attitude, take pride in their work, follow directions carefully, and prioritize safety above all else.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory & Storage

• Receive, inspect, and accurately log incoming shipments of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods
• Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas using proper rotation methods (FIFO)
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counts to ensure accuracy
• Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (training provided)

Order Fulfillment & Shipping

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for distribution to retailers, distributors, and taproom locations
• Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently
• Verify order accuracy and ensure proper documentation accompanies all outgoing shipments
• Coordinate with distribution team to meet delivery schedules and deadlines

Post-Production Support

• Assist with packaging operations as needed, including labeling, case packing, and palletizing finished products
• Perform quality checks on packaged products to ensure proper labeling and packaging integrity
• Prepare and stage finished products for storage or immediate distribution
• Maintain accurate package counts and inventory records

Cleaning & Organization

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times
• Ensure proper storage conditions are maintained, including temperature-controlled areas
• Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols to maintain product quality and regulatory compliance
• Keep aisles, loading docks, and work areas clear of obstructions

Safety & Teamwork

• Report to work on time for all scheduled shifts and maintain excellent attendance
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members throughout the shift
• Work collaboratively with production and distribution teams to meet operational goals
• Take direction from supervisors and adapt to changing priorities as needed
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude even during demanding periods

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Exceptional reliability and punctuality with a proven track record of consistent attendance
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic with willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and consistently
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and willingness to adhere to all safety protocols
• Team-oriented mindset with ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and record keeping
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy during repetitive tasks
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the shift
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods, often 8-10 hours per day
• Ability to perform repetitive motions including bending, twisting, reaching, and grasping
• Capable of working in various environmental conditions including cold refrigeration areas and loading docks exposed to outdoor temperatures
• Comfortable working at heights using ladders and operating warehouse equipment
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to safety and accuracy
