What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Manager position at Brawdy Construction?
Project managers oversee the planning and delivery of construction projects. They ensure that work is completed on time and within budget. They organize preplanning, logistics, delegate workflow and keep track of project spending. They report to the Project Director.
Project Management
- Oversee all aspects of assigned projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Manage project profitability on a weekly basis
- Organize & assist in the development and issuance of construction phasing plans, pour plans, etc
- Actively manage project performance on a daily basis
- Visit each project work site a minimum of twice per week
- Review all cost proposals & contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance prior to execution by company President
- Actively manage project safety including compliance with third party site reviews.
- Conflict management related to PM issues
- Ensure field superintendents are completing all necessary administrative functions related to PM in a timely manner (DB, Fieldwire, CO’s, TBT’s, Safety Certs, etc)
Client/Vendors
- Establish & maintain strong working relationships with our clients PM & Field staff
- Establish & maintain productive vendor relationships and negotiate favorable terms & conditions
Collaboration
- Establish & maintain productive working relationships with our internal field staff & supervisors
- Work with estimating team to produce accurate and comprehensive cost proposals for change order work
Qualifications:
- 10 or more years of Project Management in related commercial construction projects
- Preferred Associates or Bachelors degree in business or related
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
