The Product Manager within Technology organization is responsible for defining and driving product strategy, requirements, and measurable outcomes for our industrial SaaS platform (inspection, asset integrity, compliance, coatings, and turnaround workflows). This role partners closely with Sales, professional services, ME and customers to translate business and field needs into scalable, secure, reliable solutions.
A core focus of this role is building a highly configurable, metadata-driven platform that enables low-code/no-code configuration of forms, wizards, workflows, approvals, calculations, templates, and role-based experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Ownership
- Define and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business and technology objectives.
- Own the product backlog end to end; prioritize using customer value, revenue impact, risk, and technical dependencies.
- Balance feature delivery with platform health: scalability, security, reliability, performance, and operational excellence.
Metadata-Driven Platform Design (Low-Code/No-Code)
Define requirements for configuration-first capabilities: metadata schemas, rule-driven wizards, dynamic forms, workflow states, approvals, and audit trails.
- Partner with Architecture/Engineering to ensure platform primitives support multitenancy, RBAC, versioning, extensibility, and safe customization per customer.
- Ensure configurability does not compromise security, performance, data integrity, or user experience.
Requirements and Delivery
Translate business objectives and customer workflows into clear epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria (including edge cases).
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, reviews, retrospectives) and maintain a release-ready backlog.
- Drive tradeoffs across scope, timeline, and quality with transparent decision notes and clear success criteria.
Technical Collaboration and Quality
- Partner with engineering teams to understand system design, integration points, and technical tradeoffs that impact delivery.
- Ensure non-functional requirements are planned and validated (security, performance, availability, compliance, observability, data retention).
- Align product decisions with platform standards (API patterns, data model consistency, RBAC, multitenancy, integration strategy).
Stakeholder Engagement (Business, Sales, and Customer Success)
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams; keep stakeholders aligned on scope, timing, and outcomes.
- Coordinate with Sales and Customer Success on pilots, customer commitments, enablement needs, and release impact communications.
- Manage expectations and resolve competing priorities through data, clear options, and documented decisions.
Measurement and Continuous Improvement
- Define success metrics and KPIs (adoption, workflow completion, time-to-value, quality, support trends) and use them to guide prioritization.
- Analyze product data and user feedback to drive iteration and continuous improvement.
- Support launches with release notes, training guidance, and change management inputs.

- Strong analytical skills, structured writing, and the ability to make decisions under constraints.
