Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team in a 100% outpatient setting. This role involves working closely with a Nurse Practitioner and managing a steady flow of referrals while performing endoscopic procedures on designated days.
Schedule:
- Call Schedule: 10 days per month (on-campus)
- Procedure Days: Monday & Wednesday (Endoscopic procedures / scopes)
- Clinic Days: Tuesday & Friday (Outpatient consultations & follow-ups)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform gastrointestinal procedures, including endoscopic scopes
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with GI disorders in an outpatient setting
- Collaborate closely with a Nurse Practitioner for patient care coordination
- Manage referrals from other healthcare providers
- Ensure high-quality patient care and maintain accurate documentation
Patient Volume:
- Clinic: Approximately 15–18 patients per day
- Referrals: 40–60 incoming referrals from other providers
- Procedure Volume: To be discussed (based on scope demand and scheduling)
Qualifications:
- MD/DO with Board Certification/Eligibility in Gastroenterology
- Open to new graduates
- Preferred: 3–5 years of experience post-training
- Ability to work as a sole provider
- Commitment to long-term practice (minimum 5 years preferred)

Salary : $600,000 - $750,000
