Position Overview
The Electrophysiology (EP) team specializes in diagnosing and treating patients with heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias). The program provides advanced cardiac rhythm management through minimally invasive procedures and collaborates closely with interventional cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, and heart failure specialists. We are  actively growing its EP program and recruiting a fellowship-trained Electrophysiologist to expand access to advanced cardiac care in Central Louisiana and SE and NE Texas.
Common Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with cardiac arrhythmias
• Perform electrophysiology studies (EPS)
• Catheter ablations for atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, SVT, ventricular tachycardia, and other rhythm disorders
• Implant and manage:
• Pacemakers
• Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators (ICDs)
• Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy (CRT) devices
• Interpret ECGs, Holter monitors, event monitors, and implantable loop recorders
• Collaborate with general and interventional cardiologists on complex cardiovascular cases
• Participate in inpatient consultations and outpatient clinic follow-up
• Educate patients regarding treatment options and long-term rhythm management

Ideal Candidate

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• Fellowship-trained in Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Eligible for Louisiana medical licensure
• Strong interest in building and growing an established EP service line
• Collaborative, patient-focused approach to care

Salary : $400,000 - $500,000
