As a full-time/part-time barista at Bravo Toast, you will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality coffee beverages, serving food; breakfast, lunch, and a new dinner menu. The role requires exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee beverages with precision and consistency
- Consistently deliver outstanding customer service, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere
- Follow opening and closing checklists to ensure the café is fully operational and clean
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, processing payments with attention to detail
- Assist in maintaining inventory of front-of-house necessities, ingredients, and supplies
- Contribute to a clean and organized work environment, including maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area and seating areas
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer experiences
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a barista in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Excellent knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and latte art
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with customers
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a passion for providing outstanding service
- Knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktail preparation is a plus
- Must be available during café hours (7AM to 4PM), including weekends and holidays
