Bravera Wealth is hiring for a Retirement Plan Advisor in Fargo, ND. This position is responsible for administering Retirement Plan Services (RPS) fiduciary accounts, as well as developing new business. The individual will also develop and manage relationships and deliver superior customer service. Advisors must commit themselves, not only to high commercial standards, but also to the higher standards of trust and fiduciary responsibility. 

MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

  1. Fulfills fiduciary duties with accuracy and integrity.
  2. Builds strong client relationships and ensures satisfaction.
  3. Drives new business through referrals and community outreach.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Responsible for understanding and acting in accordance with the legal responsibilities of a Fiduciary.
  2. Responsible for the administration of Retirement Plan accounts to ensure the needs and goals of the Plan are met as established by the Plan document and company policies and procedures.
  3. Advise individuals and corporate clients of issues and trends concerning administration of employee benefit plans.
  4. Review reports of the trust account and participant reporting systems for consistency and accuracy.
  5. Participate in presentations to employers, employee groups, and one-on-one participant education regarding plan features and investment options.
  6. Responsible for communication with and between customers and Bravera Wealth staff.
  7. Knowing and following current Trust Company policies and procedures, as well as provide recommendations when needed.
  8. Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism regarding all employee and customer issues and information.
  9. Responsible for the development of new RPS customers and additional business from existing RPS customers.
  10. Actively creates sales opportunities with affiliated companies and other referral sources (accountants, attorneys, investment representatives, bankers, etc.).
  11. Assist with the development and evaluation of new services and products to offer trust company customers.
  12. Responsible for developing new business and promoting the organization in the community through participation in various civic and community events, activities, committees, and organizations.
  13. The employee will adhere to all trust rules and regulations, including but not limited to the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act. In addition, the employee will be proactive in the prevention of illegal activities, will vigilantly look for activities that may constitute any type of fraud including money laundering, and will report any suspicious activity to the BSA Officer.
  14. Will be required to drive a company vehicle with some overnight travel required. Must maintain a clear driving record in order to maintain coverage under Bravera’s vehicle insurance provider.  
  15. Contribute to the overall success of the organization by leveraging opportunities as they relate to all entities of Bravera Holdings Corp.
  16. PC proficiency in a windows environment required, including Word & Excel. Proficiency to learn and execute software associated with creating and maintaining client accounts.
  17. Professional communication both verbally and written.
  18. Aspire to the company aspiration to Learn, Teach, and Mentor.

 

QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business management, finance, or other related field.
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years Wealth or Banking experience.

OR

  • An acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of business development experience.
  • Working knowledge of personal trusts, investments or retirement plans.
  • Above-average written and personal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.

 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & COMMITTEES:

  • Obtain education to enhance skills as requested.
  • Participate in or undertake various functions or projects, relating to Trust Company issues as requested by management.
  • Additional responsibilities to be determined by Subsidiary.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • HS diploma with college degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field preferred.
  • Five years of retirement plan services administration or related professional experience preferred.
  • Understanding of financial markets and portfolio management concepts, as well as applicable fiduciary law.
  • Understanding of ERISA and applicable regulations for administration of employee benefit accounts.
  • Ability to communicate well with public, clients, company personnel, as well as the ability to work well with others and be a team player.
