Bravera Wealth is hiring for a Personal Trust Advisor in Fargo, ND. This position is responsible for contributing to the overall mission of Bravera Wealth and its affiliated companies by effectively and efficiently administering fiduciary accounts with the focus on Personal Trust, Agency and Individual Retirement Accounts, as well as developing new business. Personal Trust Advisors must commit themselves, not only to financial industry standards, but also to higher standards of fiduciary responsibility.  

MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

  • Client Portfolio Growth and Retention: Track growth in assets under management, new client acquisition, and retention rates to measure impact on business development and client satisfaction.
  • Community Engagement and Business Development: Measure participation in community events, referrals generated, and conversion of leads into clients to assess outreach and promotional effectiveness.
  • Compliance and Fiduciary Standards: Ensure zero compliance violations, timely completion of certifications, and consistent adherence to fiduciary responsibilities and internal policies.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Responsible for understanding and acting in accordance with the legal responsibilities of a Fiduciary.
  2. Responsible for the administration of accounts to ensure the needs and goals of the trust are met as established by the account document and company policies and procedures.
  3. Advises individuals and corporate clients of issues and trends concerning administration of personal trust agency accounts, investment management agency accounts, or IRAs.
  4. Review reports of the investment account for consistency and accuracy.
  5. Analyze the financial information that clients have provided to create plans for achieving their financial objectives.
  6. Provide customers with advice on solutions for insurance protection, investment planning, cash management, and other areas to assist them in achieving their financial goals.
  7. Speak with customers about their costs, income, insurance coverage, financial goals, tax situation, risk tolerance, and other factors to gather the necessary data to create a financial plan
  8. Participates in presentations to employers, employee groups, and one-on-one participant education regarding investment options, as needed.
  9. Put financial strategies into action or recommend customers to experts who can assist them.
  10. Responsible for communication with and between customers and trust company staff.
  11. Review of client accounts (investments and overall asset allocation) and making appropriate recommendations to the client, if applicable.
  12. Knowing and following current Bravera Wealth policies and procedures, as well as provide recommendations when needed.
  13. Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism regarding all employee and customer issues and information.
  14. Responsible for the development of new customers and additional business from existing customers. 
  15. Actively creates sales opportunities with affiliated companies and other referral sources with an emphasis on procuring new business relationships for the personal trust division.
  16. Assist with the development and evaluation of new services and products to offer company customers.
  17. Responsible for developing new business and promoting the organization in the community through participation in various civic and community events, activities, committees, and organizations.
  18. The employee will adhere to all trust rules and regulations, including but not limited to the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act.  In addition, the employee will be proactive in the prevention of illegal activities, will vigilantly look for activities that may constitute any type of fraud including money laundering, and will report any suspicious activity to the BSA Officer. 
  19. Will be required to drive a company vehicle with some overnight travel required.  Must maintain a clear driving record in order to maintain coverage under Bravera’s vehicle insurance provider.  
  20. Contribute to the overall success of the organization by leveraging opportunities as they relate to all entities of Bravera Holdings Corp.
  21. PC proficiency in a windows environment required, including Word & Excel.  Proficiency in learning and execute software associated with creating and maintaining client accounts.
  22. Professional communication both verbally and written.
  23. Aspire to the company aspiration to Learn, Teach, and Mentor.

 

SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Obtain education to enhance skills as requested.
  2. Participate in or undertake various functions or projects, relating to Bravera Wealth issues as requested by management.
  3. Additional responsibilities to be determined by Subsidiary.

 

QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):

  1. HS diploma with college degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related field preferred.  Ability to pass background check.
  2. Minimum of five years of financial services experience or related professional experience.
  3. Certain professional qualifications or the ability to obtain and maintain certain designations (CTFA, CFP, etc).
  4. Understanding of financial markets and portfolio management concepts, as well as applicable fiduciary law.
  5. Understanding of estate and financial planning, estate and gift taxes, taxation of trusts and individuals for the administration of personal trust accounts and understanding of ERISA and applicable regulations for administration of employee benefit accounts.
  6. Ability to communicate well with the public, clients, company personnel, as well as the ability to work well with others and be a team player.
