Job Summary
Bravera is hiring for a Farm/Personal Account Executive in Carrington, ND. This position is responsible for the retention, service, account development and product/service presentation to clients. Primary responsibility is to provide customer service along with cross-selling other products and services.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS:
- Be a trusted advisor to Bravera Insurance clients.
- Offer exceptional customer service.
- Cross-sell other products and services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Informs and educates clients about coverages, exclusions and exposures to create an insurance plan tailored for them.
- Assists clients in making appropriate coverage changes.
- Maintains agency electronic files accurately and consistently; processes all incoming requests accurately and timely. Document all conversations in the automation system.
- Performs online rating with companies or submits to carriers for rating. Follows up in a timely manner.
- Follows agency workflows and procedures.
- Assists clients in submission of claims to carrier.
- Responsible for coverage analysis, renewal review and re-marketing.
- Actively refers clients to other departments for solicitation. Makes each contact a marketing opportunity.
- Keeps current on carriers, product knowledge and trends in the marketplace.
- Utilizes 3rd party insurance products.
- Will review endorsements, claims, audit information, etc. as referred from Account Technician in an efficient manner.
- Consistently achieves 95% retention of assigned book of business.
- Expand new and existing relationships by advising and recommending appropriate solutions that will exceed client expectations
- Respond to referrals, walk-ins, and phone call requests for new quotes for Bravera Insurance.
- Will assure all applications and on-line documents required by carriers are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Will provide a complete risk review for each prospective customer regarding exposure and will follow up on all proposals to assure adequate coverage is provided.
- Responsible to consistently collect deposits/payments from all customers. Will input account data into system as required. Will communicate company expectations regarding payments and cancellations to all customers.
- Ensures compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Communicates and has established working relationship with Bravera Insurance’s companies and carriers.
- Assists or completes other tasks as directed by agency management.
- Responsible for promoting the organization in the community through participation in various civic and community events, activities, committees, and organizations.
- Active participant in Business Development meetings and activities across all Bravera companies
- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism regarding all employee and customer issues and information.
- Contribute to the overall success of the organization by leveraging opportunities as they relate to all entities of Bravera Holding Co.
- Adhere to all banking rules and regulations, including but not limited to the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act. In addition, the employee will be proactive in the prevention of illegal activities, will vigilantly look for activities that may constitute any type of fraud including money laundering, and will report any suspicious activity to the BSA Officer.

QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):
- Valid Resident Insurance License.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or other related field.
- Minimum five years related experience OR an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities.
- PC proficiency in a windows environment required, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Demonstrates strong influencing skills that contribute to new client relationships.
- Independently performs all job duties without sales direction
- Proficiency in keyboarding.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Professional communication both verbally and written.
- Will be required to drive a company vehicle with some overnight travel required. Must maintain a clear driving record in order to maintain coverage under Bravera’s vehicle insurance provider.
