Key Responsibilities
Instruction & Classroom Leadership
- Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with school curriculum and standards
- Teach foundational skills in:
○ Mathematics
○ Social-emotional development
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Establish strong classroom routines, procedures, and expectations
- Create a positive, structured, and joyful learning environment
- Support the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of each student
- Integrate Biblical values and character development into daily instruction
- Foster independence, confidence, and a love of learning
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback
- Implement consistent and proactive classroom management strategies
- Model and teach respectful behavior, kindness, and responsibility
- Address student behavior with both accountability and care
- Assess student learning through both formal and informal methods
- Maintain accurate and organized student records
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and needs
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and ongoing family communication
- Collaborate with grade-level team members, support staff, and administration
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
- Partner with Educational Support Services to implement accommodations when needed
- Contribute to a positive and unified school culture
- Model Christ-centered leadership in all interactions
- Lead students in prayer and spiritual development

Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field
- Teaching credential (or working toward certification, if applicable)
- Experience working with young children (TK–2nd grade preferred)
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Alignment with the mission and faith statement of Brave Christian Schools
- Experience with early literacy instruction (phonics-based approach)
- Understanding of differentiated instruction and learning differences

Salary : $50,847 - $63,445
