What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Specialist position at BRAVA ROOF & TILE?
The Product Specialist drives revenue by engaging prospective customers, primarily homeowners, through text, email, phone, and virtual meetings. This role responds promptly to customer needs, provides product education and resources, and delivers an exceptional experience that positions Brava as the preferred roofing choice. The Product Specialist connects customers with contractors for quotes and partners with the assigned Outside Sales Representative to ensure consistent follow-up and accurate lead documentation.
Engage prospective customers within hours of inquiry, no later than 24 hours, to understand their needs, discuss their projects, and recommend solutions.
Connect customers with Brava’s preferred partners for quotes; provide direct quotes for small-quantity or overstock orders in limited circumstances.
Follow up promptly after sample delivery and coordinate additional or alternate samples as needed.
Document all sales activities, customer interactions, and lead status in Salesforce, following Brava’s established processes.
Maintain thorough knowledge of Brava products and stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings.
Prioritize sales activities and opportunities to meet or exceed quarterly sales goals in assigned territories.
Guide customers through the buying process with product education, recommendations, and resources.
Support Outside Sales Representatives with a steady pipeline of qualified leads, sharing customer and project details and ensuring timely follow-up.
Share customer insights and feedback with Sales and Marketing to improve performance.
Identify and pursue upselling opportunities aligned with customer needs.
Maintain the confidentiality of company information.
Escalate customer concerns to the Sales Manager.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field preferred.
Experience with Salesforce preferred.
