Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and providing excellent service to our guests. Your friendly and professional demeanor will create a welcoming environment for customers, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage options
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring correct order accuracy
- Check with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
- Prepare and deliver bills to customers, and process payments accurately
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience
- Clean and set up tables, as well as maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Follow health and safety guidelines to provide a safe environment for staff and guests
- Handle any customer inquiries or special requests in a professional manner
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar serving role is preferred, but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and the ability to accurately handle cash transactions
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times
