Job Overview
Branvic LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Supervisor/Superintendent to lead and coordinate field operations across diverse industrial projects. This position requires a strong background in construction supervision with technical proficiency in piping systems, HVAC, electrical infrastructure, steelwork, and general sitework. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing crews, enforcing safety protocols, maintaining schedules, and ensuring quality workmanship from start to finish.
Duties:
- Oversee and manage daily field operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project timelines, safety standards, and specifications.
- Lead teams in the installation, maintenance, and modification of mechanical, electrical, and structural systems.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to align project execution with contractual requirements.
- Interpret and enforce project plans, drawings, and technical documents including blueprints and P&IDs.
- Monitor and verify that piping, HVAC, electrical, and steelwork installations meet quality and compliance standards.
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials on-site and verify completion of fabrication tasks such as pipe welding, supports, and assemblies.
- Resolve field-level issues and troubleshoot installation problems with a focus on minimizing delays.
- Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with all OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Provide regular updates on progress, potential issues, and manpower needs to project managers and clients.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent or similar supervisory role in industrial or heavy commercial construction.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, HVAC, electrical components, and structural steelwork.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, and specifications.
- Familiarity with pipe welding, metal fabrication, rigging, and layout techniques.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Competency in coordinating multiple trades and disciplines on active job sites.
- Commitment to safety, quality control, and continuous operational improvement.
- Experience with field service, job site coordination, and client-facing project delivery.
- OSHA 30 preferred (OHSA 10 is minimum requirement, although most jobsites require management and supervision to possess an OSHA 30)
- Machinery and equipment certifications are a plus
