Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install, service, and maintain various appliances including kitchen appliances and HVAC units to meet safety standards and operational efficiency.
- Operate company vehicles safely for maintenance tasks at different locations as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on mechanical systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and other building infrastructure components.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to lead small projects or assist in larger construction or renovation efforts related to facility maintenance.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally during maintenance requests.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair.
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately for troubleshooting purposes.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC & appliance technology including installation, repair, and maintenance of heating/cooling systems and kitchen appliances.
- Knowledge of maintenance operations including repair of mechanical systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and construction-related tasks.
- Familiarity with Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) practices to ensure ongoing operational efficiency.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely in various environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by leadership skills to guide junior team members when necessary.
