Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Production Bread baker. The ideal candidate will have the ability to follow direction and recipes. The Production Bread Baker is responsible for producing high-quality, hand-crafted breads while maintaining consistency, efficiency, and adherence to food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily production of various breads including pretzels, brioche buns , and loaves.
- Oversee all aspects of bread baking—from mixing and fermentation to shaping and baking.
- Maintain and manage sourdough starters and preferments with consistency and care.
- Work closely with kitchen team and maintenance a positive work environment with other crew members.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bread station and baking area.
- Uphold food safety and sanitation protocols at all times.
- Experience is not necessary. Must be willing to learn and follow direction of senior team members and management.
- Skilled in both hand shaping and use of commercial bakery equipment.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Formal culinary or baking education is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced environment.
