BCCS is seeking a Community-Based Counselor for our STARS program!

What You'll Do At BCCS:

• Be responsible for a caseload of clients, as identified by program requirements and in accordance with state regulations.
• Completes required evaluations and assessments.
• Documents all clinical services and interventions performed within the clients electronic record.
• Monitors client progress and adjusts treatment plans as needed.
• Maintains contact with outside providers to coordinate care.
• Responsible for meeting a minimum of 100 billable hours per month
• Responsible for clinical documentation in compliance with all standards and regulations
• Participate in meetings and events scheduled with the STARS program
• Confer with the Clinical Supervisor on a daily basis for casing.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor.
• This is a community-based position, so work will be performed outside of an office setting at times.
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications for the position are:

• REQUIRED: Minimum associate degree with CADC or bachelor's degree
• REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field
• REQUIRED: 1 year experience in the Substance Abuse Field and/or Mental Health
• PREFERRED: CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor).
• Within 2 years, you must have obtained certification as CADC.
• REQUIRED: Valid driver's license with 2 points or less. May need to use your own vehicle if a BCCS car is not available.
  
  

Salary

• From $21/hour
• Commensurate with experience, education, and certification!
  
  

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
