Schedule: Tuesday– Saturday 5am to 1pm

We are a busy, quality-driven bakery producing a wide range of baked goods from scratch. Our focus is on consistency, craftsmanship, and traditional baking techniques across both retail and wholesale production.

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Baker to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cookies, muffins, cakes, cupcakes, cake pops, rolls, yeast breads, donuts, Danish, breakfast pastries, and specialty pastry, including tarts and bombes. This position requires strong technical baking skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently during early morning hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake cookies, muffins, cakes, rolls, yeast breads, donuts, Danish, breakfast pastries, tarts, cupcakes, and other bakery items from scratch
• Follow standardized recipes, batch sheets, and daily production schedules
• Mix, scale, proof, shape, bake, and finish products to company standards
• Operate commercial mixers, ovens, proofers, sheeters, and other bakery equipment safely
• Monitor product quality, consistency, and bake times; make adjustments as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
• Assist with ingredient preparation, inventory awareness, and daily prep lists

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of professional bakery experience
• Strong experience with yeast bread, buns, cakes, cupcakes, and tarts.
• Ability to accurately scale recipes and work with large batch production
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong time management and attention to detail
• Must be dependable and able to work very early morning shifts
• Must have a valid driver’s license as you may have to do a delivery in our vehicles.
• ServSafe or food safety certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Comfortable working in a warm kitchen environment
