We help boys to know their past does not determine their futures.Primary Function: Responsible for the overall management, coordination and supervision of the Day School Program in coordination with the directors.Position Responsibilities: Aid in the development and oversight of the Day School program in coordination with the senior director of education. (Responsibilities include oversight of any staff/clients in the residences M-F during the day shift.)Facilitate weekly department meetings and participate with the Ed management team in the hiring process and any disciplinary proceedings.Provide payroll information and manage scheduling as well as requested time-off minimizing the use of overtime.Foster professional growth of your team by continuing to set goals and helping them reach their expectations.Effectively manage client/activity expenses, facility upkeep, and program supplies, within the limits of the site budget.Help develop and design training and in-service needs for new as well as experienced staff.Aid in the development of job descriptions by clearly defining responsibilities and expectations.Manage all behavioral aspects of the program to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment.Provide leadership, support and supervision to your team by evaluating assigned staff on performance, and identifying and addressing the training needs of site staff.Communicate effectively and accurately all program needs through the appropriate procedures.Communicate and document all relevant client information clearly and concisely using the appropriate systems.Implement individual treatment plans for clients assigned to your site by collecting and analyzing behavioral data while using clinical and practical knowledge and best practiceServe as on-call manager Monday-Friday during holidays and vacations.Comply at all times with federal, state and local regulations and licensing requirements.Follow all established policies and procedures with outside agencies regarding runaways, physical interventions, medical emergencies and all other critical incidents.Follow all Brandon policies and procedures and initiate new systems through the appropriate process.Manage snow day coverage by assigning education staff to appropriate houses and providing training to staff regarding appropriate snow day procedures and protocol.Qualifications: Bachelors Degree required3 years experience with similar population or setting2 years minimum supervisory experience requiredJob Type: Full-timeBenefits: 401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveProfessional development assistanceReferral programRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insurance
