Apprentice Electrician
Brandon & Clark is seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our Electrical Field Services team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals eager to build a long-term career in the electrical trade. Under the guidance of experienced technicians and supervisors, the Apprentice will gain hands-on experience in the repair, replacement, and installation of electrical equipment and systems. This role emphasizes learning, safety, and professional growth while contributing to the success of our service operations.
Core Responsibilities:
Assist experienced technicians with electrical repair, installation, and maintenance work.
Learn to use basic hand and diagnostic tools safely and effectively.
Follow detailed instructions and maintain a strong focus on safety at all times.
Participate in daily job prep — reviewing work orders, gathering tools, loading materials, and ensuring job site organization.
Attend team meetings, safety briefings, and job site orientations.
Learn to follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and identify common equipment failures.
Adhere to OSHA, company, and industry safety standards in all work performed.
Practice professionalism and teamwork while maintaining no direct customer contact at this stage.
Learning & Development
This position is structured for growth and learning. As an Apprentice, you will:
Be introduced to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and basic electrical theory (voltage, current, resistance).
Learn standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and troubleshooting methods.
Gain exposure to company systems for job tracking and reporting.
What You’ll Bring
Prior experience in construction, electrical work, or related field service is helpful but not required.
Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
Dependable attendance, professional appearance, and a positive attitude.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in varied environments (confined spaces, heights, outdoors, and noisy areas).
Must pass a background check and maintain an insurable driving record.
Must hold a valid driver’s license and be at least 21 years old to drive company vehicles.
Willingness to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations as needed.
