What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapy Aide position at Branding 2?
The Tennessee Valley's leader in orthopaedics, spine surgery and sports medicine, The Orthopaedic Center, is looking for a highly motivated Physical Therapy Aide for our Hampton Cove location. This opening is a part-time position averaging 20 hours per week. The employee will support patient care by preparing treatment areas, equipment, and materials as well as by performing designated and supervised routine tasks related to physical therapy services under the direction of a Physical Therapist. The employee must be able to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff.
Must possess:
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline
- Outstanding organizational, verbal and writing skills
- Independent and highly motivated
- Initiative and self-discipline
- Proven positive, "teamwork" attitude in work history
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to use arms, hands, and fingers skillfully
- Frequent use of forceful exertion during treatment
- Frequent moving, pushing, pulling of heavy patients and/or equipment
- Constant standing and walking
- Must be agile and able to work efficiently in space limited areas
- Consistently work at a productive pace
- Must readily adapt to frequent treatment schedule changes
