Screen Room Technician / Reclaimer

Branded Ink is growing and busy and we are currently looking for a hardworking and dependable Screen Room Technician to join our production team. This position is responsible for the entire screen preparation process, from reclaiming and cleaning screens to coating, imaging, and preparing them for production.

This role is critical to keeping our presses running efficiently and producing high-quality prints. No prior experience is required—we are willing to train the right person. If you’re detail-oriented, enjoy hands-on work, and take pride in staying organized, we’d love to meet you.

Entry level pay is $14 up to $18 DOE.

Responsibilities:

• Reclaim and clean screens using automatic reclaiming equipment and pressure washers.
• Remove old emulsion, ink, and tape from screens and prepare them for reuse.
• Coat screens with emulsion to company standards.
• Burn and image screens using our CTS (Computer-to-Screen) imaging system.
• Inspect screens for defects, pinholes, and image quality before they go to production.
• Tape and prepare screens for press setup.
• Organize and maintain screen inventory and storage areas.
• Maintain reclaiming, coating, and imaging equipment.
• Mix and properly handle chemicals according to safety procedures.
• Assist with ink mixing, screen setup, and other production duties as needed.
• Support press operators during busy production periods.
• Keep the screen room and work areas clean, organized, and efficient.
• Communicate any issues that could affect production schedules or deadlines.
• Continuously look for ways to improve quality, efficiency, and organization.

Qualifications:

• No experience required; screen printing or screen room experience is a plus.
• Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Detail-oriented and committed to producing quality work.
• Organized and enjoys working in a clean environment.
• Positive attitude and works well in a team environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical processes.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable working in a warm and occasionally wet environment.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
